SouthWest Building Science Training Center

A BPI Affiliate Providing Training in Building Science & Energy Efficiency

Located on the Phoenix campus of FSL Home Energy Solutions, the SouthWest Building Science Training Center is a leading resource for hands-on laboratory learning as well as classroom training in a variety of topics, including weatherization, energy efficiency and building science.


Certification Training

As an Affiliate of the Building Performance Institute (BPI), the SouthWest Building Science Training Center is the authorized trainer for the Building Analyst Workshop on “whole house” residential energy techniques and has certified hundreds of contractors throughout the Southwest. This BPI certification is a requirement for contractor participation in the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program.
