Gifts in Kind
Frequently, the most convenient
way to support the Foundation’s
efforts is through donations of material goods or services.
Items such as property, equipment, vehicles, medical and
housekeeping supplies and durable food stuffs are highly
useful to our ability to provide basic and enhanced assistance
to our clients.
Our Adult Day Health Centers and residential homes for
the behaviorally challenged are always in need of furnishings
and supplies. The lives of seniors in our subsidized apartments
and of those receiving in-home services can be measurably
enriched by periodic gifts of sorely needed goods.
Donations of targeted services are
also valuable and greatly appreciated. Contributions
of professional, administrative, and creative services
help fulfill needs that the Foundation’s
budget can otherwise not meet. Donations of catering, bowling
events and small repair or maintenance services, for instance,
permit activities that extend our reach and brighten our
clients’ lives.
Neither the Foundation nor its employees provide tax or legal
advice. Please confer with a qualified tax or financial professional
to understand fully the potential favorable tax consequences
of your donations.
